Our Team
Muller Acoustic Consulting Pty Ltd (MAC) consists of a team of staff that includes engineers, scientists and technical officers. Several MAC staff are current members of the Australian Acoustical Society and MAC are a Member Firm of the Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC).
Oliver Muller
Principal Acoustic Scientist
BSc(REM & HGeog) | (MAAS)
Oliver is an environmental scientist with over three decades of experience specialising in project management and environmental assessment of noise, vibration and air quality. Oliver is the Principal Acoustic Scientist at Muller Acoustic Consulting Pty Ltd (MAC) and has a significant amount of acoustic consulting experience within the environmental approvals, construction, transport, infrastructure and extractive industries.


Rebecca Muller
Practice Manager
Dip. Env. M.T.
Rebecca is MAC’s Practice Manager. Rebecca keeps the team in check and operating efficiently. Rebecca is also key in maintaining company quality control of reporting and for organising logistics for the team to achieve the on time delivery of assessments and reports. Rebecca is also our key contact for accounting enquiries.
Rod Linnett
Lead Acoustic Consultant
(MAAS, MIOA)
Rod has over 35 years experience in environmental and industrial acoustics, having spent over 10 years in a heavy industrial setting and a further 25 years as a consultant working in Australia, UK, Europe and Africa. Rod has extensive experience in environmental noise measurement and analysis, prediction and impact assessments, noise mitigation and management for a wide range of projects, with an emphasis in the extractive, industrial and manufacturing sectors. Rod has extensive experience in conducting technical peer reviews and representing clients in Land and Environment Court Proceedings.


Dale Redwood
Lead Acoustic Consultant
BSc(Hons) | (MAAS)
Dale has nearly two decades experience in environmental and infrastructure acoustics, having previously spent over six years in environmental management and assessment in the research sector. During his professional career, Dale has been involved in numerous environmental noise and vibration impact assessments, occupational noise assessments, compliance audits, continuous noise and air quality monitoring reports, monitoring of vehicle noise, and the development of Construction Environmental Management Plans and Assessment for Linear Infrastructure.
Robin Heaton
Senior Acoustic Engineer
BEng(Hons) | (MAAS)
Robin has 15 years’ experience in environmental acoustics, and started with MAC in 2016. Robin has completed projects in a variety of sectors including extractive industry, commercial and infrastructure. Robin has a strong track record of delivering prompt turnaround times on projects, in particular for built environment projects. Robin liaises with multidisciplinary planning teams, clients and consent/approval authorities to reach the best outcome for each project. During his career Robin has also undertaken numerous compliance assessment, OHS noise and air quality audits, construction noise and vibration assessments for road upgrades and sound power audits.


Nicholas Shipman
Acoustic Consultant
Dip Env M.T | GC Spatial Science | (MAAS)
Nicholas is a member of the Australian Acoustical Society (MAAS) and joined the MAC team in 2016. Nicholas regularly conducts noise and vibration assessments for multiple clients for a variety of industries. Nicholas has project experience in multiple industry sectors, including built environment, licenced premises, extractive industry, renewable energy and construction.
Kristian Allen
Acoustic Consultant
B.Sc
Having previously worked in computer related industries Kristian’s acumen for computer technologies and instrumentation has been developed over the past two decades and now applies these key attributes to establishing data macro programming and analysis. Since completing his degree in Applied Sciences, Kristian has applied that knowledge to Noise Monitoring instrumentation and assessments. Kristian is heavily involved in maintaining MAC’s laboratory, instrumentation and regularly conducts noise monitoring assessments for a variety of industries throughout NSW.


Daniel Brown
Acoustic Consultant
BEnvSc & Mgmt
Daniel is a degree-qualified environmental scientist and management professional who joined MAC in 2023 and regularly conducts noise and vibration environmental assessments for a variety of industries. Daniel has extensive experience in unattended and real-time noise monitoring systems, their implementation, servicing and analysis.
William Archer
Graduate Acoustic Consultant
BEnvSc & Mgmt
William holds a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science and Management, and joined the MAC team in 2025. William regularly conducts noise and vibration monitoring assessments for multiple clients for a variety of industries and regions throughout NSW.
